Post 63 Donates $1,500 to “Holiday Gifts for Kids”

The Winter Garden Police Department, through its Police Athletic League (WGPAL), hosts an annual Holiday Gifts for Kids toy drive to provide new toys for local children in need (ages 12 and under). Donations – including toys, bicycles, and gift cards – are collected at multiple locations, such as the Police Department and City Hall, as well as through community business partners.

This year, American Legion Post 63 was proud to support this meaningful initiative with a generous $1,500 sponsorship. During the Post’s general membership meeting on December 11, 2025, Post Commander David Kassander formally presented a $1,500 check to Officer Tim Thatford in support of the program.
