2025 Legionnaire of the Year

The American Legion's Legionnaire of the Year award recognizes a member for outstanding contributions to their post and community. Each post selects a recipient based on criteria such as significant service to the local community and dedication to the American Legion's principles. This award recognizes excellence in volunteer work, service to veterans, and involvement in programs above and beyond regular duties.

Post 63 is proud to announce that the 2025 Legionnaire of the Year has been awarded to none other than Angel Motta! Angel currently serves as the post adjutant and has been involved in a myriad of additional projects and duties over this past year, including Adopt-A-Highway, flag retirement ceremonies, and facility upgrades to the post’s security system. Congratulations, Angel, you are a true embodiment of the American Legion’s core values!
