Post 63 Installs Newly Elected Officers

Every summer, American Legion posts undergo the annual officer installation ceremony. This customary tradition is a formal ceremony where elected and appointed Legionnaires officially assume their duties. The process typically involves an installing officer, who may be a past commander or a designated representative, leading the ceremony.

This year, Post 63 was honored to have the newly elected Eastern Area Commander conduct the ceremony. Our Eastern Area Commander presented the newly elected officers, highlighting their responsibilities and the importance of upholding the Post's principles. Following in the tradition of recognition, David Kassander (Post 63’s Commander) also presented certificates of appreciation to several members for their hard work and dedication to the post.
